Kenneth H. Kahn, DDS

Dr. Kahn graduated in 1976 from the University of New Mexico, and attended dental school at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1980. Upon graduation, Dr. Kahn was accepted into the post-doctorate endodontic specialty studies program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. There he earned his Post-doctorate Certificate in Endodontics. In 1989, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Kahn was in private practice in Boston for 16 years, as well as teaching clinical endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine at both the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral levels. In 1992, he received the honor of becoming a Fellow in the International College of Dentistry. The College admits dentists who have shown outstanding clinical, academic and leadership skills as well as giving back to their communities. In 1996, he was honored by his peers by being inducted into the exclusive Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Kahn volunteered for many years at the Bridge Over Troubled Waters, a medical/dental facility for homeless youth. He provided dental service to the Boston Bruins hockey team and the World Cup Soccer league, while living in Boston.

In 1998, Dr. Kahn and his wife Caren, returned to New Mexico. He has maintained a private practice with offices in Santa Fe and Los Alamos since that time. In 2009, he began the New Mexico Endodontic Center. Dr. Kahn has always been active in various local and national dental organizations. These include the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, The International College of Dentistry, and the American Board of Endodontics. He is past-president of the Santa Fe District Dental Society as well as on the Advisory Board of the Santa Fe Community College.
